Child, Baby and Family Photography tips , tricks and workshops in Somerset West
I have been running children’s, family and baby photography workshops for almost four years now. They have all been great fun, the students, models and assistants have all been such a pleasure to work with. Each workshop is practical and therefore lends itself to the needs and wants of the group.
Seeing as the sessions are workshops with practical demonstrations and of course lots of questions each workshop has been a little different to cater and where possible demonstrate solutions to questions.
In each workshop we have a theoretical presentation that covers everything from working with your client, posing, props, outfits and clothing, locations and various lighting techniques. We take the theory and put that in to practice with actual demonstrations and shoots.
I encourage the class to participate, pose the model, direct a portion of the shoot and suggest ways to work on lighting the subject and then of course see the results. There is nothing better than the class getting involved, taking initiative, asking questions and seeing how their own ideas work in practice.
The workshop is for anyone with an interest in child, family and baby photography, for the hobbyist, to the photographer who is taking their work to a professional level. I look forward to each workshop.
Please take the time to have a look at the various images below that you can learn to master.
I have decided to write a blog however, every few weeks to give budding new photographers a few tips in various areas to cover a few basics to get one started. Please feel free to follow my site and blogs. Comments and questions are welcome and will help me to know what to cover in the up and coming articles.
You are welcome to contact me directly on firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on the workshops that are run.
